West Ham are 'champions of London' over Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea, claims David Sullivan
West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan has made the bold claim that the Hammers are now the ‘champions of London.’
The east London club have had a great season under the guidance of Slaven Bilic, sitting sixth in the Premier League table with an outside chance of finishing in the top four.
Arsenal (third) play Manchester City (fourth) on Sunday before West Ham bid farewell to the Boleyn Ground with a vital match against Manchester United on Tuesday
If results go the Hammers' way, it could open up a route to the Champions League ahead of the club's move to the Olympic Stadium this summer.

West Ham have won four of their eight London derbies against capital clubs Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Crystal Palace this term, beating each side once and only losing to Spurs.
"We are champions of London," Sullivan said to Sky Sports. "If you do a league of all the five London teams when they’ve played each other, we are the champions of London.
"Fourteen points (sic - West Ham have 15) is better than anyone else. We call ourselves champions of London now."
The Hammers have three games left to play this season - against Swansea, Stoke and Man United - and every point will be crucial in the race for the top four.

Said after the quarter final debacle that I was expecting maximum points from our remaining 6 games and aside from the Leicester joke penalty we have delivered.
We need to win our last 3 games, secure 5th and be poised if Man City go on their jollies a few weeks early to nick fourth.
To be honest anything else would be plain lazy

Talk is cheap, we are 6th in the league, it's been a good season, not great. It's an improvement but lots need improving. If the owners would have bought a world class striker last summer we could have won this league. But they didn't bother to fork out. So all their talk means still no trophies still no success, if people see 6th from top as sucsess then carry on listening to the hype media whore that is Sullivan. Reality us better than dreams. I don't want learns Icelandics, or Donald Trump just chairmen that's not looking too boost their own ego. I personally don't trust this mob over the OS.

Another win after being champions of wales and the south west since the start of the season.
Hopefully well be champions of Manchester by next weekend and then it's only the East Midlands where we aren't champions, and who cares about there?

Nice to have chairmen who support the club and actually give a shit that we're beating our London rivals, regardless of the odd bit of silly stuff they both come out with.
I'm sure many other owners of other clubs would do the same, though unfortunately they're all foreign cunts who can't speak English!

Even though he then went on to praise them I too thought Sullivan saying 'we all know how they won it' by quoting stats on penalties won was petty and embarrassing.

Either way we are top and but for the ridiculous free kick deemed a penalty vs Chelsea and Clattenburg wrongly sending off Kouyate we would have been even further clear with 4 more points.
